Entrepreneurs encouraged to use MyAssist MSME portal

ENTREPRENEURS from the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) segment and future entrepreneurs are encouraged to use the MyAssist MSME portal to grow their business.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the platform, which was launched today, can help MSMEs cope with business-related problems and issues in the new norm.

“The MyAssist MSME portal comes with service modules, online interactive advice, business matching as well as e-exhibitions and expos.

“It provides an opportunity for everyone to get information and business opportunities, no matter where they are in the country,” he said when launching the MyAssist MSME portal on SME Corp Malaysia’s Facebook page today.

MyAssist MSME includes four main components, namely the SMEs information centre, advisory services, business matching and business expos.

Muhyiddin also officiated SME Week 2021 themed “Mula Berdikit, Azam Melangit” to appreciate the contribution of SMEs as the backbone of the national economy.

It also aims to raise awareness and promote local SME products and services,  fostering an entrepreneurial culture and also as a platform for disseminating the latest information to SMEs.

National SME Week 2021 is being held virtually from June 26 until July 4, 2021.

The expo involves nearly 500 exhibitors from across the country with a sales value target of almost RM7 million.
